About Coach TheuneAdult and youth baseball teams and teams in chester, Chesterfield, Richmond, and Varina.



Coach Theune played high school ball at Patchogue HS on Long Island.  He lettered in baseball, basketball, and football. Upon Graduation, Coach Theune was offered and presented professional baseball contracts by 11 Major League Organizations, he declined these offers and played division I baseball in California for C.S.U.L.B. Coach Theune then played at the highest level of amateur baseball in California for 10 years. In a typical game, Coach Theune would be pitching against several ex-major league players. He played in the MSBL World Series in Phoenix Az. 6 times during his amateur career. Coach Theune hosted a Sports Talk Radio Show on Sunset Boulevard in Southern California for 2 years and has interview many Major League players including ShawAdult and youth baseball clinics and teams in chester, Chesterfield, Richmond, and Varina.n Green, Carlos Delgado, Managers Jim Fregosi and Tommy Lasorda.

In addition to coaching at OSBA, Coach Theune coaches an 11 U  USSSA travel baseball team and is the pitching coach at Thomas Dale High School in Chester, VA..

During the off season your team will be put through speed and agility courses and your pitchers will have off season routines that will get them in the best shape of their lives and prepare them for the long season ahead. There is a strict code of ethics that will be explained and is in written form as well. I personally guarantee your kids will become better players and learn respect for each other and the game.
